Qigong, Diet + Recovery Speed

Some of my students have seen tremendous improvements in their health issues in 1 month 1 week of the lesson.

That's because they practice daily + followed my dietary suggestions to the T. Food is important, as they're building blocks to our cellular + tissue regeneration in the damaged or weakened bits.

Today, I'll touch on the expectations to 80%-100% recovery timeline.

As some of you would have experienced some wellbeing of varying degree, please note that it's not signs of 100% recovery.

The good feelings of health means the Qi and blood are flowing well + you're on the right track. smile emoticon

Depending on how consistent you are, skeletal + joint issues can take about 1 year to build a more or less solid foundation = 80%-90% filling up at the marrow + joints.

** This is applicable to those till age 55, but still, depending on how serious the issue is. For hereditary issues, please expect a 50%-60% recovery, as it's innate deficit.

Muscular-artery issues e.g heart disease, cholesterol, high blood pressure etc, please expect around 8 months to build a more or less solid foundation = 80%-90% regeneration.

In our fetal stage, our bones take up the most resources from mom to form + the longest time too. Hence, skeletal issues take the longest period to heal well.

In this period of time, refrain from over-taxing your body with sex, work and stress. Take the time when practicing Qigong to throw all the stress away, don't attach any emotion or thought to it = clearing the brain.

This will help recovery much faster. :)

On an additional note, I need to touch on emotions and health recovery too.

Despite right diet + Qigong practice, if our emotions are not balanced, it can hinder our recovery too.

Emotions like hanging onto past fears, failures, trauma, hatred etc.

Much as all external help has came in, if the past has passed and we're still hanging onto the hurt, it'd be very difficult to heal.

In TCM, excessive emotion of any kind is detrimental to our physiological health, herbal medication can only lessen the weight on our organs but it cannot untie the knots within. Only we have the ability to do it.

If your life now is more or less better than before, stable and more or less predictable, let go of the past hurt.

Don't let something that has gone to hurt you anymore. It's not easy, but for your health, family and future, you have to do it.
